What are the signs of acute sinusitis?

  The symptoms of acute sinusitis vary widely among individuals, and are usually more severe in children, the elderly and the weak.  The main symptoms are as follows: general symptoms: fear of cold, fever, lack of desire to eat, fatigue and weakness.  Nasal symptoms: nasal congestion, runny nose, sometimes with blood in the snot, fishy odor.  Headache and painful redness and swelling in the sinus area, which is aggravated by bending forward, leaning forward, straining to defecate, lowering the head or vibrating head position.
