Astigmatism is a type of refractive error, and there are generally three main symptoms. The first one is vision loss. If the astigmatism is relatively low, it will not cause significant vision loss, but high astigmatism will cause both distance vision and near vision loss, so that it is not clear to see far and near. The second one, it is easy to have visual fatigue. Because astigmatism will cause the eyes to be unable to see clearly, it is easy to have headaches, especially headaches in the forehead, eye pain, and tearing, all of which are typical manifestations of eye fatigue. The third one, because astigmatism can lead to vision loss, many patients will appear to like to bring objects closer or squint to see things when reading, and if there is serious unequal astigmatism in both eyes, they will also appear to see things with crooked head.
