Cervical spondylosis is a common, occupational disease that is divided into the following five types: 1. Symptoms of vertebral artery-type cervical spondylosis: Patients experience episodes of vertigo accompanied by nausea, vomiting, tinnitus or hearing loss, sudden weakness of the lower extremities and sudden collapse, but consciousness is awake, and most of these symptoms occur when the head is suddenly rotated or flexed and extended. Vertigo is a common symptom in patients with vertebral artery cervical spondylosis, where the patient changes position due to neck extension or rotation to induce vertigo symptoms. The vertigo caused by ischemic lesions of the vestibular nucleus usually lasts for a short time and disappears in a few seconds to a few minutes. 2. Symptoms of neurogenic cervical spondylosis: early symptoms are neck pain and neck stiffness, patients have pain in the neck, shoulder, back, upper limbs and hands to varying degrees, and the pain in the neck and shoulder and upper limbs is stronger at night; a few patients with neurogenic cervical spondylosis have burning pain, which is sometimes light and sometimes heavy, often related to the degree, frequency and intensity of neck movement, temperature and humidity of the environment, and the upper limbs on the affected side feel heavy and the grip strength is reduced. The upper limbs on the affected side feel heavy, grip strength is reduced, and sometimes there is a fall of holding objects. Symptoms of sympathetic cervical spondylosis: Patients with this type of spondylosis may have headache or migraine, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, unclear and blurred vision, decreased visual acuity, dilated or narrowed pupils, posterior eye distension, rapid heartbeat, arrhythmia, precordial pain, increased blood pressure, abnormal sweating in the head and neck and extremities, tinnitus, hearing loss, dysarthria, etc. They may also have blurred eyes, lacrimation, nasal congestion and bradycardia. It can also manifest as eye strain, nasal congestion, bradycardia, decreased blood pressure, gastrointestinal distension and other complex manifestations, excessive sweating, no sweating, chills or fever on the face or a certain limb. 4, spinal cord cervical spondylosis symptoms: the patient’s spinal cord is stimulated and compressed, so that the blood supply to the spinal cord is insufficient, which leads to the dysfunction of the spinal cord appearing numbness and heaviness of the lower limbs, difficulty walking, and a feeling of stepping on cotton in both feet; numbness and pain in the upper limbs, and weakness in both hands; when the patient’s neck is rotated, he suddenly feels weakness in the lower limbs and falls down, and can wake up soon after falling, not accompanied by impaired consciousness. Such patients are accompanied by dizziness, nausea, vomiting, sweating and other symptoms of plant nerve dysfunction. 5.Cervical cervical spondylosis symptoms: neck discomfort and restricted activities, neck pain, soreness and stiffness improve after activities; sudden aggravation in the morning, after exertion, improper posture and cold stimulation; painful points and “popping” with hand pressure on the neck, lack of flexibility in turning the neck, etc. Sinking of both shoulders; soreness and swelling of the shoulders; muscle spasm in the neck, pain when pressing the neck, sometimes severe pain; aggravated by exertion, prolonged sitting and improper posture. Tightness and stiffness of the back muscles, painful points on the back, aggravated by exertion and cold back discomfort. When the above obvious typical symptoms should be promptly checked and treated in hospital, or when the cervical MRI reveals obvious lesions, the following rehabilitation methods are not suitable. The vast majority of people only have early mild cervical spondylosis, and the development of cervical spondylosis can be delayed or even terminated by paying attention to life in general. So what should patients with cervical discomfort usually pay attention to? 1, pay attention to work habits: especially for white-collar office workers or people who need to work for a long time, every hour of work, you can do the following neck health exercises for 15 minutes. It should be noted that the movement of functional exercise should be gentle, not violent, fast. According to observations, research, cervical spondylosis involving muscle groups, stretching exercises to achieve the degree of “acid” and not to “pain” to have the best effect, if the exercise found that a certain action is likely to induce symptoms, you can suspend this action, and then do it again after a period of time. 2, pay attention to lifestyle habits: life should be regular, do not stay up late. You can drink a small amount of red wine before going to bed at night. Sleep please use the neck health pillow to restore the curvature of the cervical spine. 3, pay attention to the neck to keep warm: sleep at night and go out during the day to pay attention to the neck to keep warm, do not get cold. 4.Strengthen physical exercise: Older people can do kite flying, swimming and other physical exercises. Young people can do badminton, swimming and other sports.
