Efficacy and effects of ibuprofen tablets

Ibuprofen Tablets, Ibuprofen is a drug with precise efficacy and less adverse effects among many NSAIDs, which is widely used in clinical field because of its antipyretic and analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic effects. In clinical practice, ibuprofen tablets are mostly used to relieve mild to moderate pain such as headache, arthralgia, migraine, toothache, muscle pain, neuralgia and dysmenorrhea. It is also used for fever caused by common cold or influenza. And in terms of its antipyretic effect, ibuprofen is also the only fever-reducing drug for children jointly recommended by the World Health Organization and the US FDA. Because ibuprofen tablets are widely used in clinical applications, we need to pay more attention to the interactions between ibuprofen and other drugs: ① when used with other antipyretic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory drugs can increase the gastrointestinal adverse reactions and may lead to ulcers. ②When used with anticoagulants such as heparin and dicoumarin, it may lead to prolongation of prothrombin time and increase bleeding tendency. ③When used with digoxin, methotrexate and oral hypoglycemic drugs, it can increase the blood concentration of these drugs and should not be used together. ④When used with furosemide (furanilic acid), the sodium excretion and antihypertensive effect of the latter is weakened; when used with anti-hypertensive drugs, the antihypertensive effect of the latter is also reduced.
