Clinical observation on the treatment of knuckle pads with vitamin capsules

Clinical data: All 5 patients were outpatients, aged 17 to 28 years, average 20.67 years, all were male, onset time ranged from 3 months to 2 years, average 10.67 months. Three cases occurred on the dorsal side of the proximal phalanges of both hands, and two cases occurred at the proximal joints of the fingers (toes). The rash was a limited hypertrophic plaque, hard, with keratinization, varying in size from 0.4 cm to 1.0 cm in diameter, round or oval, yellowish to light brown, slightly raised, with a slightly rough surface, adhering to the skin but not to the deeper tissues or joint capsule, and moving with the skin. Results: All 5 patients were given 10 mg/kg/d of vincristine capsules orally in three doses for 4 weeks. 3 cases showed significant softening and flattening of the skin lesions and 2 cases showed slight softening. The lesions disappeared completely in 2 cases and the skin color of the joint was close to normal. 1 case became flat and soft, but was still yellowish. One case had mild dry mouth, itchy skin and loss of appetite during treatment, which disappeared after stopping the drug. The rest did not see any adverse drug reactions. At the end of treatment, the skin lesions were cured in all 3 cases and improved in 2 cases.
