Why is my back sore?

There are many soft tissues around the lumbar spine, such as ligaments and muscles, which play an important role in maintaining posture and enhancing spinal stability, balance and flexibility. If for some reason these ligaments, fascia, muscles, spinal synovial bursa (small joint bursa) and other soft tissues become diseased, pain can occur, and this soft tissue back pain is known as lumbar strain injury. The original causes of lumbar soft tissue pain are many and complex. In addition to the local lesions of the lumbar region itself, they are also closely related to age, gender, anatomical variation, physique, work position, work habits and other external environmental changes. Overall, there are four main causes. Intrinsic factors such as soft tissue trauma, sprain, strain and inflammation of the lumbar region; specific anatomical defects influence, such as congenital lumbosacral spine dysplasia causing biomechanical structural imbalance, etc.; triggered by external factors such as moisture, cold, poor body position, etc.; eventually developing into tissue degenerative lesions, post-traumatic tissue scar adhesions, increased muscle gap pressure, tissue metabolic dysregulation and small joint synovial inflammation hypertrophy, etc.
