So the book pulse case is as follows: fever does not subside for half a month, up to 40 ℃, hot and cold regularly, the onset of 5-6 p.m., dry mouth, bitter mouth, chest discomfort, abdominal discomfort, dullness, red tongue, yellow thick greasy moss, diagnosed his pulse number. This is a case of damp-heat visiting Shaoyang. He was given Xiao Chai Hu Tang with Artemisia Scutellaria Clear Gall Bladder Soup, plus and minus: Scutellaria Baicalensis 10g, Artemisia annua 10g, Slippery Rock 20g, Yun Fu Ling 20g, Chen Pi 10g, Fa Xian Xia 10g, Citrus aurantium 10g, Zhu Ru 10g, Dang Shen 15g, Chai Hu 10g, Glycyrrhiza glabra 10g. 5 doses. The case of pulse is as follows: the heat evil has been withdrawn, na increase, fatigue is reduced, still feel irritable heat in the chest, light red tongue, yellow greasy moss and not thick, damp heat remaining evil is not exhausted, to be divided to eliminate the three jiao method, to three ren Tang combined with gardenia black bean soup: almond 10g, coix seed 10g, cardamom 5g, patchouli 10g, Fa Xian Xia 10g, slippery stone 15g, Chai Hu 10g, scutellaria 10g, light black bean 10g, mountain gardenia 10g, cloud Poria 20g, roasted licorice 10g. 5 doses. This patient has a red tongue with yellowish greasy coating, suggesting that the disease is in Shaoyang, but is accompanied by phlegm and dampness, that is, Shaoyang damp-heat evidence, so the formula is Artemisia Scutellaria Qing Bile Tang and Shaoyang to clear heat and dampness. Many people may not be aware that Artemisia Scutellaria Qing Bile Tang is from the “Revised Treatise on Typhoid Fever” by Yu Genchu, a famous doctor in the late Qing Dynasty. In fact, this formula is derived from Xiao Chai Hu Tang. Xiao Chai Hu Tang uses Chai Hu with Scutellaria baicalensis to reconcile Shao Yang, in which Chai Hu is bitter and slightly cold to disperse evil and Scutellaria baicalensis is bitter and cold to clear internal heat. Artemisia scutellaria clear gall bladder soup with artemisia instead of Chai Hu, the power of artemisia to penetrate the evil outward is stronger than that of Chai Hu, the smell is aromatic and can transform dampness, its nature is colder than that of Chai Hu, so the effect of clearing heat is significantly greater than that of Chai Hu, therefore, for Shaoyang heat evidence of cold and heat, with dampness, heat more than cold, this two flavors and reconciliation of Shaoyang is more appropriate.
