Can neurodermatitis heal on its own?

Neurodermatitis is a common chronic cutaneous neurological dermatosis. Most patients do not heal on their own. The symptoms of neurodermatitis begin with localized itching, and after scratching, pinhead to rice-sized round or polygonal flat papules appear, firm and shiny, and may be accompanied by a small amount of scales. After a long time, the papules fuse, expand, thicken, and develop into moss-like changes, with scattered flat papules visible at the periphery. If the above symptoms appear, you should go to the hospital for treatment in time. Treatment of psychogenic dermatitis is divided into topical medication, systemic medication and physical therapy. Attention should be paid to avoiding spicy and irritating foods, alcohol consumption and excessive washing and scalding during the onset of the disease. Avoid all kinds of suspicious factors as much as possible. The patient with neurodermatitis should not have tension and should have proper rest in daily life. The collar should not be too thick and hard to avoid stimulating the affected area, try not to scratch and rub the affected area, prohibit smoking and alcohol, limit spicy food and strong tea, coffee, etc. The Chinese herbal medicine has obvious clinical effect on the treatment of this disease, so we suggest that patients come to the hospital for face-to-face treatment. Patients with psychogenic dermatitis should pay attention to avoid scratching, rubbing and other kinds of stimulation during the disease, supplemented by psychological treatment to avoid recurrence of the disease process.
