Treatment of Inverted Nipples

Inverted nipples not only lead to poor milk ducts and interfere with breastfeeding, but also have a close relationship with plasmacytosis. Plasmacytoid mastitis occurs during the non-lactation period, and the condition is recurrent, prolonged, and persistent, and the effect is not obvious through regular medication changes, and the wound healing is slow, which is a torture for both patients and doctors. By combining Chinese and Western medicine, the breast department of Chinese hospital not only shortens the treatment course, but also controls the recurrence of the disease by consolidating the treatment with Chinese herbs. Nipple invagination: can be lifted by manual lifting, breast pump lifting, modified syringe lifting and surgical lifting. Manual lifting method: The sunken nipple is divided by the thumbs of both hands, and the thumb and forefinger of one hand are used to gently lift the nipple and maintain it in a normal position for 30 minutes, 4 to 5 times a day, taking care not to pull or lift so hard that the nipple is damaged. Breast pump lifting method: Gently suck out the sunken nipple through the negative pressure of the breast pump and maintain it to the normal position for 30 minutes, 4 to 5 times a day, taking care not to pull or lift too hard, which may cause nipple damage. Modified syringe lifting method: 20ml or 50ml empty syringe is modified into a simple manual negative pressure suction device, first remove the metal needle and discard it. Then pull out the syringe needle core, cut off the head end of the syringe, and put the syringe needle core back into the syringe leading to the direction. A simple and practical negative pressure suction device is completed. The operation and effect are the same as before. Surgical lift: Surgical lift is a more direct and convenient way. The procedure is simple, leaves no visible scar, and the post-operative results are obvious.
