Radiofrequency ablation, operated under a surgical microscope, has made a major breakthrough in the treatment of congenital pigmented nevi. Congenital pigmented nevus is mainly removed by skin grafting and flap transfer, and there are differences between skin color and normal skin tone after skin grafting. Flap transfer requires prior preparation such as skin expansion and inevitable scarring, especially on the face, which affects patients psychologically and mentally, while lesions located on the eyelids are difficult to treat as described above. We have created a radiofrequency ablation procedure that effectively avoids these drawbacks and removes the lesions especially on the eyelids effectively under the microscope with minimal damage, achieving satisfactory results.
