About half of all newborns cry for more than two hours in a day, and 1/5 of all newborns have repeated episodes of endless bawling. Crying is an instinctive reaction of the baby. As babies do not yet have the ability to express themselves verbally, crying is an important way for them to express their feelings and react to external stimuli, as well as a form of expression for making various requests and wishes, full of rich emotions. The different cries of babies indicate their different needs and reactions, and young parents should familiarize themselves with and understand this unique language of their babies by looking at their faces and recognizing their voices, and make comprehensive judgments and careful observations based on the height, strength, facial expressions and degree of hand-waving of their babies’ cries, so that they can correctly understand and find the true meaning and reasons expressed in their cries.
