Is 37.2 considered a fever?

37.2°C is usually a low fever, and prompt treatment with appropriate measures is recommended. Generally normal body temperature is not a specific temperature point, but a temperature range. The body temperature referred to clinically is mostly represented by the axillary temperature, the normal value of which is 36.0℃-37.0℃, therefore 37.2℃ belongs to fever. Its may be related to a variety of factors such as cold, local infection, blood disorders, etc. If symptoms of cold, cough or local inflammation exist recently, it may be a symptom of hypothermia accompanied by the above diseases, and it is recommended to drink more water and take antipyretic and analgesic drugs such as ibuprofen to reduce fever. If the fever persists or is recurrent, it is recommended to go to the hospital for a comprehensive blood test to exclude tuberculosis, tumors, blood disorders and other conditions and give symptomatic treatment. It is recommended to pay attention to diet and nutrition, prevent cold and keep warm, don’t stay up late, pay attention to rest, actively participate in physical exercise, and refrain from smoking, alcohol and spicy and stimulating diet.
