Completely scar-free from incision to piercing to body surface

Last month, a 75-year-old patient was successfully removed from the bile duct with 2.5cm diameter giant stones through ERCP in the Minimally Invasive Surgery Center and was discharged from the hospital after the operation, becoming another successful case of giant bile duct stones after the routine ERCP operation. Li was first hospitalized in our hospital six months ago because of recurrent epigastric pain and jaundice, and was diagnosed with bile duct giant stones. After being discharged from the hospital, the patient was still suffering from recurrent bile duct infections caused by giant bile duct stones. After understanding the relevant information, the patient came to our hospital again and was admitted to the minimally invasive surgery center. The patient underwent ERCP, duodenal papillotomy, balloon dilatation and mesh basket lithotripsy in the Minimally Invasive Surgery Center and successfully removed one 2.5 cm diameter stone and two other 2.0 cm diameter stones from the bile duct. The patient was discharged from the hospital on the 5th day without any cardiac or surgical complications. Removal of large bile duct stones is a difficult part of ERCP surgery, in which large stones are removed through narrow channels in the lower bile duct and duodenal papilla. Therefore, the removal of large bile duct stones under ERCP requires skillful operation and extensive anatomical knowledge.
