Are the babies that come out of IVF healthy?

In our clinics, we often encounter patients who reject IVF because they think that the babies born from IVF are unhealthy compared to naturally conceived babies due to the large amount of medication used to promote ovulation and fertility preservation, and they worry if there will be problems with their children in the future. While it is true that IVF crosses over into natural selection, larger studies have confirmed that there are no significant differences in birth defects and later mental development between IVF and naturally conceived babies. The fact that the first IVF babies have now given birth to normal babies of their own shows that IVF is safe and reliable. Therefore, infertile couples who need IVF or fertility treatment can rest assured and trust this proven technology.
