How long does it take for a child to recover from scarlet fever?

Typically, it takes about 7 days for pediatric scarlet fever to gradually heal from its onset. Scarlet fever is an acute respiratory infection caused by the streptococcus bacteria, and the population is generally susceptible. There is a short incubation period after infection with the streptococcus, followed by the onset of fever and a generalized rash that spreads throughout the body within 24 hours, peaks within 48 hours, and then gradually subsides. The rash will begin to spread all over the body within 24 hours and reach its peak within 48 hours, and then gradually fade away. It will gradually crust over and improve in about 7 days, and will heal naturally. Family members of the child must follow medical advice during the illness, do a good job of isolation, do not spread the disease to others, always be concerned about the child’s condition, and if there are any abnormalities immediately go to the infectious disease department of the hospital. In addition, during the period of fever, the child’s family can carry out physical cooling, and encourage the child to drink more water, eat a light diet, and eat more fresh fruits and vegetables to improve their own resistance to help the disease recover as soon as possible.
