What causes vaginitis?

Vaginitis is usually caused by pathogens such as bacteria, trichomonas, pseudomonas, etc. According to the different pathogens of infection, it can be generally categorized into bacterial vaginosis, trichomonas vaginitis, vulvovaginal pseudomonas, and atrophic vaginitis.
1. Bacterial vaginosis: Inflammation caused by the increase of anaerobic bacteria in the vagina, which destroys the weak acid environment of the vagina itself.
2. Trichomonas vaginitis: the patient is infected with vaginitis caused by Trichomonas vaginalis, which can hinder the production of lactic acid in the vagina.
3. Vulvovaginal pseudomycosis: inflammation caused by pseudomycosis, which is a fungal infection.
4. Atrophic vaginitis: it is mainly due to the decrease of ovarian function and estrogen in postmenopausal women, which leads to the decrease of vaginal resistance and the inflammation caused by overpopulation of germs.
