Do people with nail cancer not live long?

There are many factors that affect the survival rate of thyroid cancer. Depending on the type of pathology and stage of the disease, the survival rate of thyroid cancer varies, therefore, there is no absolute definite life expectancy of thyroid cancer patients. The prognosis of papillary thyroid cancer, follicular thyroid cancer, medullary thyroid cancer and undifferentiated thyroid cancer is relatively good, with a 10-year survival rate of 93% after active treatment; the prognosis of follicular thyroid cancer and medullary thyroid cancer is also relatively good, with a 10-year survival rate of 76.7% and 77.9% after treatment; while the prognosis of undifferentiated thyroid cancer is relatively poor. The prognosis of patients with undifferentiated thyroid cancer is relatively poor. Therefore, it is recommended that patients should receive treatment in hospital as early as possible once they fall ill. Even for patients with late stage of cancer or those who have metastasized lesions, after regular clinical treatment, they can achieve the purpose of prolonging survival time and improving life quality. Patients should build up their self-confidence in treating the disease, and doctors and family members should also do a good job of psychological guidance in time to make them actively cooperate with the treatment.
