For children with milder conditions and satisfactory surgical results, they can usually be discharged from hospital 24 to 48 hours after surgery, and after discharge, the child will recover faster with home care by parents under the guidance of the doctor.
For children with more serious conditions, they may have to continue to be hospitalised for observation and treatment for 5-7 days after surgery, during which time the doctor will take post-operative treatment measures such as anti-infection, rehydration and nutritional support to facilitate early recovery and discharge.
