Studies have shown that the neurological symptoms of lung cancer patients are related to the metastasis and infiltration of the tumour into the skull. However, some lung cancer tissues have neuroendocrine functions and may also show corresponding neuropsychiatric symptoms. Secondly, some lung cancer patients may also present with neurological paraneoplastic syndrome. The presence of corresponding neurological lesions will also lead to neuropsychiatric symptoms. Therefore, patients with lung cancer who develop neurological symptoms should seek medical attention as soon as possible, have relevant tests performed for differential diagnosis, and receive appropriate treatment.
