Efficacy and effects of ibuprofen suspension

  Ibuprofen suspension is a non-steroidal antipyretic and analgesic drug used for fever caused by common cold or influenza in children. It is also used to relieve mild to moderate pain in children, such as headache, arthralgia, migraine, toothache, muscle pain, neuralgia, and dysmenorrhea.  According to the literature, ibuprofen suspension and acetaminophen suspension are effective in the treatment of pediatric fever, with short onset of action and few adverse effects, and are suitable for pediatric use. It is suitable for use in pediatrics. Meanwhile, in neonatal arteriovenous ductus arteriosus, there are data showing that ibuprofen suspension is effective, with low incidence of adverse drug reactions and high safety, and has important clinical promotion and application value. In the treatment of acute upper respiratory tract infection with hyperthermia, when the patient’s axillary temperature is ≥39.0℃, the treatment with ibuprofen suspension is effective, not only can effectively accelerate the reduction of fever, shorten the hospitalization time, but also can reduce the incidence of adverse reactions and improve the overall efficiency of treatment.
