Conservative observation is recommended after a 6 year old child’s new teeth are replaced and the new teeth are crooked. After all teeth have been replaced, orthodontic treatment may be considered if crooked teeth are still present.
1.6 year old children do not have all their teeth completely replaced. Therefore, if a single permanent tooth grows crooked during tooth replacement, early treatment is usually not necessary and parents can continue to observe during the tooth replacement process. Generally speaking, mildly crooked permanent teeth can be gradually improved during the subsequent tooth replacement and tooth alignment adjustment process.
2. If the degree of permanent teeth crookedness is more serious or the occlusal environment in the oral cavity is obviously disturbed, it is recommended that parents should bring the child to the hospital for an oral examination, and orthodontics can be carried out to help adjust the position of the teeth alignment, so as to improve the phenomenon of crookedness or misalignment.
