The pinnacle of minimally invasive surgery for endocrine tumors of the pancreas

Pancreatic endocrine tumors are a rare clinical condition, and the incidence of various tumors in pancreatic endocrine tumors is still very different. There are also significant differences in incidence rates among countries. In China, insulinoma is the most common. More than 90% of insulinomas are solitary, benign and <2 cm in diameter, so most of them are feasible for simple removal, and their surgical treatment includes open surgery and laparoscopic surgery, especially for obese patients, laparoscopic surgery is more advantageous. Therefore, for patients with clear diagnosis, such as ultrasonography, CT or DSA have found the exact lesion, and the tumor is located in the area other than the pancreatic head of the pancreas, laparoscopic tumor enucleation, pancreatic body caudal resection and other complete removal of the tumor is feasible, so as to achieve the purpose of cure. However, laparoscopic surgery is affected by various factors such as the volume, location and number of tumors, therefore, clinically confirmed cases often cannot be resected because the tumor cannot be localized during intraoperative exploration.
