The specific manifestations of sinus erosion vary depending on the size of the erosion and the location where it occurs. If the sinus has a small area of erosion, the patient usually has no obvious symptoms; if the sinus has a large area of congestion, oedema, erosion, or even some black crusts, the patient may experience recurrent upper abdominal pain, a feeling of fullness in the upper abdomen, belching, acid reflux, and in severe cases, vomiting of blood and black stools.
