What medicines should I take for a cold and headache?

Non-steroidal antipyretic and analgesic drugs are usually chosen for cold and headache, such as ibuprofen and acetaminophen taken orally. However, if accompanied by nausea, vomiting and poor mental health, one needs to be alert for intracranial infection. A cold, especially when accompanied by fever, can cause blood vessels to dilate leading to congestion and headache.
Therefore, non-steroidal antipyretic analgesics can be used, along with plenty of hot water to help with sweating. Medication is still recommended to be taken under the supervision of a doctor.
