Symptoms of pulpitis

Pulpitis is categorized into reusable and non-reusable pulpitis, which manifests itself as pain to external hot and cold stimuli, but the degree and duration of pain are different.
1. Reproducible pulpitis: Reproducible pulpitis is characterized by transient pain in response to external hot or cold stimuli, but the pain disappears immediately after the stimuli are removed.
2. Irreducible pulpitis: Irreducible pulpitis is categorized into acute and chronic pulpitis. Acute pulpitis will produce severe pain to external hot and cold stimuli, lasting for a few seconds, and there will also be spontaneous pain, pain at night, and pain can not be localized. Chronic pulpitis is characterized by pain that occurs only after a few seconds of external stimulation and persistent pain, spontaneous pain, and a long period of pain.
It is recommended to go to the hospital as soon as possible to avoid the development of apical periodontitis.
