Bile secretion time

In general, the liver secretes bile 24 hours a day and at no particular time. Bile is secreted in large quantities when food is consumed. In the human body, the liver secretes bile and the gallbladder stores it. About half an hour after food is consumed, the liver and gallbladder excrete bile in large quantities into the bile ducts, from which it passes into the duodenum to aid in the digestion and absorption of food. Bile is especially vital for the digestion and absorption of fatty foods. If you consume high fat and high cholesterol food frequently, it will easily lead to a large amount of bile secretion, and if there is an obstacle to the discharge of bile, gallbladder stones will easily occur. Therefore, it is important to have a good diet to avoid consuming too much high-fat and high-cholesterol food.
