Is adenomyosis related to sexual confusion?

Adenomyosis is not related to sexual disorders. Adenomyosis is caused by the displacement of the endometrium into the myometrium of the uterus, resulting in an increase in the size of the uterus. Clinical symptoms of menstrual abdominal pain, increased menstrual bleeding, infertility, and vaginal drenching may occur. Adenomyosis is an immune deficiency that may be related to genetic factors and is not related to sexual life or sexual disorders. Sexual disorders may cause some viral infections of the vagina and cervix, which do not cause endometriosis to the myometrium. However, patients with adenomyosis may suffer from pain in the pelvic floor during sexual intercourse due to pelvic adhesions and formation of hard knots in the pelvic tissue and surrounding tissues, i.e. symptoms of painful intercourse.
