Ocitinib usually refers to ocitinib mesylate tablets, a targeted drug used to treat non-small cell lung cancer in the presence of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations.
Ocitinib is/is a kinase inhibitor of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and irreversibly `binds to certain mutants of EGFR (T790M, L858R and exon 19 deletion) at concentrations approximately 9-fold lower than wild-type. Oshitinib has antitumor effects on non-small cell lung cancer cell lines harboring EGFR mutations (T790M/L858R, L858R, T790M/exon 19 deletion and exon 19 deletion).
Mainly applicable to:
1. for the treatment of patients with stage IB-IIIA non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in the presence of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) exon 19 deletion or exon 21 (L858R) substitution mutation, who have undergone prior surgical resection treatment and who receive or do not receive adjuvant chemotherapy at the discretion of their physician.
2. First-line treatment of adult patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) exon 19 deletion or exon 21 (L858R) substitution mutation.
3. Treatment of adult patients with locally advanced or metastatic NSCLC who have experienced disease progression during or after previous EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) therapy and are confirmed to be positive for the EGFR T790M mutation.
It is recommended to go to a regular hospital to evaluate the condition and follow the doctor’s instructions to cooperate with the treatment, so as not to delay the disease. Drug treatment should be carried out under the guidance of a doctor, do not self-medication.
