  Facial trauma precautions a. Soft tissue contusions 1, cold compresses: within 48 hours after injury, use ice packs cold compresses, ice packs and the skin should be separated by a towel. In the elbow joint or knee joint area should pay special attention to prevent frostbite, because the nerves in these areas are closer to the skin.  2, hot compress: 48 hours later, when the swelling of the injury is controlled, and began to subside, then add warm compresses. There are two ways to add warm compresses, one is the dry method of heating, that is, hot water bags or bottles with hot water on the injury; the other is the wet method of heating, is to apply hot towels or soak the injury in warm water.  Hot compress precautions: when using a hot water bag or bottle, use a towel and other things to separate from the skin to prevent burns. However, if a person is running a fever, or there is something on the body where an infection has occurred, it is not advisable to use hot compresses.  3, the injured area rest do not move; 4, the injured area will be properly wrapped up, can also reduce swelling; 5, the injured area is properly elevated, slightly higher than the heart area to reduce blood flow; 6, diet: avoid fried, barbecue, too salty, too sweet food; avoid spicy, fishy and tobacco and alcohol stimulating products; to drink more water; 7, develop good hygiene habits, do diligent bathing, diligent hand washing, diligent nail cutting Keep the skin dry and fresh, and keep the sweat glands unobstructed.  Patients with wound stitches should take anti-inflammatory drugs regularly and keep the skin around the wound clean and dry as prescribed by the doctor. If the wound is itchy, just lightly press a few times through the gauze to stop itching, do not scratch and scratch, so as not to cause wound breakage and bleeding.  If the wound is in the upper limb, suspend the affected limb in front of the chest; if the wound is in the lower limb, try to reduce walking, not to mention running, should be more bed rest and elevate the affected limb.  3, in the two or three days after the wound suture, a little slight pain, which is the normal phenomenon of the wound self-rehabilitation process. If the pain is pulsating and persistent, or even redness and swelling or burning around the wound, it is a manifestation of wound inflammation and should be promptly checked and treated by a doctor.  4, change the medicine: in general, clean wound suture after 2 days to change the medicine once, infected septic wound at least once a day, when the wound exudes more, timely replacement. Do not apply ointment-type drugs directly on the wound, which is detrimental to the normal healing of the wound and wound cleaning.  5, stitch removal: in general, 4-5 days for head, neck and face, 10-12 days for extremities, 7-8 days for other parts, 14 days for reduction suture, keep the wound clean and dry after stitch removal.  6.Anti-scar treatment: start to use anti-scar medication after removal, generally medication for 3 months – 6 months.
