The prognosis for haemophagocytic syndrome is poor, with rapid progression and high mortality, but some patients can achieve a good outcome with aggressive treatment, after induction therapy + maintenance therapy; with aggressive treatment of the primary disease, some patients can achieve a curative treatment outcome.
