The treatment of premature ventricular contractions mainly depends on different clinical conditions such as general treatment, drug treatment and surgical treatment, which are often categorized as without or with organic heart disease and so on.
Drug treatment:
1. People without organic heart disease: generally, if there are no obvious symptoms or mild symptoms, no special treatment is needed, and regular follow-up is enough. If the symptoms are more obvious, beta-blockers, such as bisoprolol, etc., and non-dihydropyridine calcium channel blockers, such as diltiazem and verapamil, etc., can be used. Daily attention should be paid to avoid smoking, stress and other triggering factors.
2. Organic heart disease: the heart itself needs to be dealt with. Those with obvious symptoms can be treated with drugs such as metoprolol and amiodarone as appropriate. In case of acute myocardial ischemia or infarction combined with ventricular pre-systole, reperfusion therapy can be given.
Catheter ablation therapy: It is suitable for patients with frequent pre-systole that is difficult to be controlled by medication. If the symptoms are obvious and the effect of medication is unsatisfactory, catheter radiofrequency ablation therapy can be carried out.
If there is any discomfort, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time. The use of specific drugs should be under the guidance of a doctor.
