Patients with bronchiectasis can use generation one cephalosporin and generation two cephalosporin. Both bronchiectasis and pneumonia belong to lower respiratory tract infections, and its treatment principles are the same. According to our national guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of community-acquired pneumonia, the most common pathogens of lower respiratory tract infections are Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae, and Catamoras, so these bacteria will be considered to be covered first in the empirical selection of drugs for patients with bronchiectasis. If the pathogenic examination is done, the application of antibiotics will be adjusted according to the bacterial culture and drug sensitivity test, and the antibiotics adjusted are selected according to the sensitive antibiotics, not limited to the first generation cephalosporin or second generation cephalosporin, but other antibiotics may also be used.
