What to do about pediatric bronchitis

Pediatric bronchitis can be treated by general treatment, infection control, symptomatic treatment, etc. General treatment includes drinking plenty of fluids, infection control, use of antibacterial drugs for bacterial infection, and symptomatic use of drugs to dissolve phlegm when there is phlegm.
1. General treatment: Drink plenty of water, rest at home as much as possible, keep the room ventilated and keep the air moist.
2. Infection control: the most common form of pediatric bronchitis is viral infection, which is self-limiting and can be treated with supportive therapy. For severe dry cough, consider using cough suppressants, such as dextromethorphan. When wheezing is severe, bronchodilators, such as terbutaline sulfate, can be used.
