Acute bronchitis caused by influenza should be treated with etiologic and symptomatic treatment.
1. Etiologic treatment: Influenza is caused by influenza A and B viruses. If influenza is considered within 48 hours of the onset of the disease, oseltamivir phosphate can be given as appropriate, and the dose of the drug should be adjusted according to the patient’s age and weight.
2. Symptomatic treatment: if cough, can be given codeine phosphate, dextromethorphan tablets and other cough suppressants; if coughing up sputum, and sputum is not easy to cough up, can be given aminobromine hydrochloride, acetylcysteine and other expectorant; if wheezing, can be given albuterol aerosol antispasmodic antiallergic and so on.
3. Other: instruct the patient to avoid cold, exertion, light diet, avoid contact with smoke and dust.
As there are obvious individual differences in bronchitis caused by influenza, it is recommended to consult a respiratory physician for individualized treatment under the guidance of a doctor.
