Is infertility related to men?

Traditionally, fertility refers to the reproduction of offspring, where a woman gestates her offspring inside her body and gives birth. Going with the flow is understood to mean that fertility is a woman’s business. In fact, the normal process of procreation includes the union of a man’s sperm and a woman’s egg for fertilization, the directional movement of the fertilized egg to the uterus, the implantation of the embryo, and the normal development of the fetus up to the point of delivery. It is easy to see from here that the process of combining sperm and egg is the basis of fertility. Thus both men and women are involved in the process of procreation. Traditional beliefs have always blamed the woman for infertility, especially in old societies where women who did not produce a boy or a girl were quite discriminated against, especially in rural areas. Although there are fewer people with this traditional concept in modern society, it still exists. At the same time, due to the position of men in society, men quietly avoid the very sensitive issue of infertility, and even avoid medical treatment, which is also one of the reasons why the traditional concept has been passed down silently. However, through the progress of society and the development of medicine, people have realized that fertility is a matter for both husband and wife. Among all infertile couples, about 1/3 of the causes are caused by female factors; 1/3 of the causes are caused by male factors; 1/3 of the causes are caused by both male and female factors; that is to say, infertility caused by male fertility defects is not less than 50% of infertile couples, therefore, it is really unfair to put all the causes of infertility on the female side, which is also irresponsible and irresponsible behavior and unscientific understanding. It is also irresponsible and unscientific.
