  Tinnitus is a very complex condition of unclear etiology and unclear mechanism, including objective tinnitus and subjective tinnitus. The former has a corresponding sound source, such as a vasogenic or myogenic murmur. The latter refers to the subjective sensation of sound produced in the ear or head in the absence of any external corresponding sound source or electrical stimulation, and it is mainly the latter that is common in life.  The main causes of tinnitus are hearing system diseases and systemic diseases. Hypertension, diabetes, vascular sclerosis, poor sleep, and mental factors can all cause tinnitus.  It is best to go to a professional ENT clinic and have the ENT doctor perform some relevant examinations, including cranial MRI scan, neurological examination, auditory function examination, tinnitus determination, vestibular function determination, etc., so as to carry out targeted treatment according to the diagnosis.  This disease is mainly treated with medication, supplemented with psychotherapy if necessary.  In addition to medication, a low-salt diet, avoiding greasy and spicy foods, abstaining from alcohol, and maintaining good living and eating habits should be followed.
