Symptoms of vaginitis

Vaginitis is mainly manifested as vulvar itching and abnormal secretion, but different vaginitis have different specific symptoms as follows. 1. Bacterial vaginosis: increased leukorrhea, grayish-white or yellowish-green, in the form of thin paste, accompanied by fishy odor, itching and burning sensation on the vulva, and the symptoms can be aggravated after sexual intercourse. 2. Trichomonas vaginitis: manifested by increased secretion, grayish yellow or yellowish green, foamy or thin paste-like pus, itching of the vulva and vaginal opening, there may be burning sensation, accompanied by pain during sexual intercourse. It may involve the urinary system, with symptoms such as frequent urination, urinary urgency and painful urination. 3. Mycotic vaginitis: increased discharge, tofu scum-like or cheese-like, redness, swelling, itching, burning sensation of the vulva and vagina, accompanied by pain during sexual intercourse, and if it involves the urethral orifice, it will lead to painful urination. 4. Geriatric vaginitis: increased discharge, yellowish in color, scanty or purulent leukorrhea, itching and burning sensation in the vulva, accompanied by pain of sexual intercourse and pain of urination, and in severe cases, ulcers may appear, and there may be watery or purulent discharge accompanied by a foul smell. Vaginitis has similar presenting symptoms and requires routine leukorrhea testing to clearly determine the type.
