The presence of more sour milk-like leucorrhea after intercourse is mostly considered due to the performance of male semen and female leucorrhea mixed together, or due to increased secretions around the menstrual period, which can be observed for two days before judging the symptoms. If safety measures have been taken during intercourse, or if a large amount of yogurt-like leucorrhea still exists after many days of intercourse, it should be considered a pathological phenomenon: I. Physiological phenomenon: during pregnancy or ovulation, the secretion of the cervical glands can increase due to elevated estrogen levels, and some young women also have increased vaginal secretions during ovulation or after exertion in the middle of two menstrual cycles. In addition, sexual excitement can also discharge a lot of vaginal secretions during sexual intercourse, thus making the leucorrhea increase in volume and resemble yogurt-like leucorrhea. Pathological phenomena: 1. Vulvovaginal pseudomycosis: also known as mycosis fungoides, caused by vaginal infection with Pseudomycetes, the vaginal discharge is characterized by thick white, milky, yogurt-like, accompanied by vulvovaginal itching. It is often necessary to use azole antifungal drugs, such as miconazole preparation and mycophenolate preparation placed deep in the vagina; for those who should not use local medication, oral medication can be used. Commonly used drugs are fluconazole; 2. Cervicitis: Mostly caused by infections with pathogens such as Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Chlamydia trachomatis, the symptoms are mainly increased vaginal discharge, sticky texture, like yogurt, some patients have purulent discharge, accompanied by local itching and burning sensation. It is mainly treated with antibiotics, such as azithromycin, doxycycline, etc. If pathogens are present, treatment should be directed at them. In addition, the long-term use of estrogen drugs can also increase the leucorrhea, become viscous shaped like yogurt leucorrhea, so the appearance of abnormal leucorrhea and continued failure to relieve the symptoms should promptly seek medical attention, differential diagnosis and early targeted treatment to avoid aggravating the disease.
