What about OCD?

Medications can relieve the pain of OCD, which is not suitable for use because of pregnancy. Many such patients suffer psychological adjustment of pain still works well. It is best to meet in person, if telephone consultation is also possible. Tips: too much haste to interfere with adjustment; adequate time for treatment, otherwise it is not easy to get into the mind; positive and effective actions to help divert attention from the compulsions; clean up the psychological issues behind them (if any). When obsessive-compulsive symptoms and accompanying fears arise, the individual is reminded to “let it go” and to take the initiative to shift attention to what needs to be done at the moment, such as eating a meal or talking, activities that can divert attention from the compulsion. It is essential to keep living life to the fullest and to participate appropriately in the work or other activities. It is recommended to continue psychotherapy, not for too short a time at a time. When the compulsion comes, it is like a person who falls into the mud, repeating the action in vain or even deeper and deeper. Therefore, learning and establishing a new positive approach to compulsions is one of the most important measures to treat them. It is important to note that most severe obsessive-compulsive thoughts and behaviors have a “mystery” behind them and require deep psychotherapy or skills training. Many people with OCD need help with medication.
