Uterine flow signal is an ultrasound description that represents the abundance of blood flow. Sometimes the ultrasound will reveal a richer localized blood flow to the uterus, and this is when a blood flow signal is reported. Blood flow detection is usually needed when there is abnormal tissue in the uterus or when there is a suspicion of pregnancy. The presence of a blood flow signal in pregnancy indicates that blood flow is established between the uterus and ovaries and represents the survival of a fertilized egg. A blood flow signal is also usually associated with an occupying lesion in the uterus, such as an endometrial polyp or uterine fibroid. If the occupying lesion is combined with abundant blood flow, or if the resistance index in the blood flow is low, it often indicates that the tumor has abundant blood flow and it is possible that growth will be faster, but it is not possible to determine the benignity or malignancy. Its nature should be evaluated according to postoperative pathology.1. Polyps: If one has endometrial polyps and there is a blood flow signal, it indicates that the endometrial polyps are rich in blood flow, which is an indication for surgical treatment, and hysteroscopy should be performed. If endometrial polyps are seen under hysteroscopy, hysteroscopic removal of endometrial polyps should be performed, and the extracts should be sent for pathological testing to clarify the nature; 2, tumor: if the tumor is large in size and rich in blood flow signal, it is suspected that there is a possibility of malignant lesions, which is also an indication for surgical removal. For example, hysterectomy is often required for uterine fibroids that are combined with rich blood flow signal, or if the fibroids are too large and the internal echogenicity of the fibroids is not uniform. For those who insist on preserving their fertility, the fibroids can be removed first, and the excised material should be sent for pathological examination for a clear diagnosis.
