Does chicken pox cause fever or acne first?

The initial presentation of chickenpox is a fever followed by a rash. The fever is mainly between 38-39.5°C. The child may be weak, tired and unresponsive, with loss of appetite, headache or sore throat. The initial symptoms of chickenpox in children are usually mild, but in adolescents or adults, the symptoms are more severe. The rash can appear in various forms, mainly involving the face and neck, and can spread over the trunk and extremities within a day, but there is no rash on the palms of the hands and soles of the feet, which can be distinguished from hand, foot and mouth disease.
