Chicken pox is itchy and lasts for a few days

Chickenpox is itchy usually lasts 3-10 days, but the degree and duration of itching varies with each person’s body type and immunity. Chickenpox is an acute respiratory infectious disease caused by varicella-zoster virus infection, the onset of the disease is more rapid, the body can quickly appear rash, and accompanied by itching, most can tolerate. If the patient has a better immune system, the relative itching is less severe and lasts less, and may stop itching in about 3 days. However, if the patient’s chickenpox symptoms are more severe and the body’s resistance is poor, the itching may follow the entire course of the disease, i.e., the itching will disappear only after the chickenpox has completely crusted over, about 10 days. If the skin itch is more serious, you can use local rubbing with furnace glycol lotion, sodium bicarbonate solution, or use ice packs to relieve the itchy symptoms, and at the same time combined with antiviral drug treatment, in order to make the disease improve as soon as possible.
