What to pay attention to in children with chicken pox

Chickenpox mainly occurs in infants and preschoolers. Children with chickenpox should pay attention to personal hygiene, diet and nutrition, and the home environment. Personal hygiene: Children with chicken pox should first have good personal hygiene. Parents should let their children change their clothes frequently and also change their underwear daily to keep their bodies dry, because excessive sweating can cause skin infections. Diet and nutrition: A light diet should be given with easily digestible, vitamin-rich liquid or semi-liquid food. Eat more fruits and vegetables and drink more water, which can promote intestinal peristalsis and also help the rash to recover. It is recommended not to eat spicy food and seafood to prevent aggravating the disease. Family environment: Children with chickenpox should be isolated from other family members, the room should be ventilated and well-lit, and parents should let their children rest in bed more often when they have a fever. The child’s clothes should not be too thick, too hot and sweaty will make the rash itchy, and keep the bedding clean to avoid secondary infections. In short, children suffering from chicken pox should be strengthened in all aspects of care, if the child’s chicken pox is particularly serious, to the relevant hospital in time to ensure that the child can get good medical treatment.
