Astigmatism is afraid of light?

After astigmatism develops in the eyes, many people experience photophobia, also known medically as photophobia, because it causes varying degrees of vision loss. The main cause of this condition is still the loss of vision. So once this happens, the first thing to do is to go to the hospital for a vision check and an optometry exam to clarify whether there is astigmatism in the eyes and the size of the impact of astigmatism on vision. If the astigmatism is relatively large, or causes a significant decrease in naked eye vision, in this case we must early through a variety of optical correction methods to improve vision, the symptoms of photophobia can be restored to normal. There are three general methods of correction: the first, frame glasses; the second, corneal contact lenses; and the third, surgical treatment, including excimer laser surgery or femtosecond laser surgery.
