What is the white discharge from the glans

Most of the causes of white discharge from the glans are due to circumcision or prepuce or candidal glansitis. Candida glansitis is common in patients who are overcircumcised and have unclean intercourse. There is a mild flushing of the foreskin and glans, a white cheese-like discharge at the coronal groove of the inner foreskin plate, and a pinhead-sized pale red papule on the glans. If it is invading the outside of the foreskin and scrotum there may be redness, and if it involves the urethra there may be frequent and painful urination. Most of the white discharge from the glans is seen in Candida glansitis. For Candida glans, a smear of the discharge can be done to find Candida albicans. For the treatment of candida glans, the first thing is to keep the local clean, prevent secondary infection local, use iodophor solution to wipe once in the morning and once in the evening. You should use an antifungal ointment, such as Paregoric ointment or Dacronin ointment, every day. Generally a few days can be cured, after the cure can do a circumcision link surgery and so on have a very good preventive effect. The glans appears white discharge, need hospital consultation, usually need to pay attention to hygiene.
