Pediatric foreskin adhesions, how to treat them

The mother of the baby recently found a few white bumps on the baby’s penis when she was giving him a bath, and the baby’s mother was horrified. After going to the hospital for a checkup, the doctor told the mom that the white bumps on her penis were caused by the accumulation of foreskin scale, a symptom of foreskin adhesion. The first thing you need to do is to get a good idea of what is going on. The doctor told the mom that the foreskin adhesion is due to the prepuce or prepuce is too long, urine sediment deposited between the foreskin and glans, causing inflammation of the foreskin glans, which is common in children between the ages of 3 and 12. After listening to the doctor’s explanation, the mom relaxed a lot. The actual fact is that you can’t get a lot of money from the company. The doctor suggested that the mother should treat the baby’s disease in time, although it is a common disease, but the foreskin adhesion patients, foreskin upturning difficulties, serious cases affect the normal development of the penis, but also to urination difficulties. The actual fact that the foreskin and glans are not perfectly separated can lead to the accumulation of foreskin scale and poor drainage leading to secondary infection, which can lead to a series of infection symptoms. This can lead to a series of infections such as glansitis, urethritis, narrowing of the foreskin, scar formation, etc. In order to further understand the symptoms of foreskin adhesion, the doctor briefly introduced several symptoms of common clinical foreskin adhesion: (1) simple foreskin adhesion foreskin scale accumulation, often to find the head of the penis with white lumps and consultation, no conscious symptoms, physical examination foreskin has different degrees of adhesion, there is a block of foreskin scale accumulation; (2) adhesion combined with inflammation, to foreskin redness and swelling and urinary pain and consultation, physical examination can be seen (3) poor urination, with fine urine flow, ball-like elevation of the foreskin during urination, history of recurrent infections, and scarred narrowing of the foreskin opening on physical examination. Then the mother asked the doctor how this condition should be treated and whether the baby would be in pain during the treatment? The doctor told the mother that the clinical method of separation of the foreskin adhesions is generally used in this case. In order to dispel the mother’s doubts, the doctor also introduced the process of separation, that is, under local anesthesia, through the expansion of the foreskin mouth, and separation of the foreskin and glans adhesions, separation process cleaning foreskin scale, and finally apply erythromycin ointment and back, the treatment process can be accompanied by parents, as long as the child cooperate with the separation process is basically painless. The baby’s mother, after listening to the doctor’s introduction, agreed to the treatment of her baby. The treatment was quickly completed with the help of the mother and the baby had no obvious symptoms of discomfort. The doctor instructed the mother to reset the foreskin after cleaning the child to prevent unnecessary damage caused by foreskin impaction. The company is also aware of regular review, if there is re-adhesion should be separated again. The doctor also taught the mother how to properly open the foreskin to clean and remove the foreskin scale, so as to avoid the accumulation of foreskin scale and secondary infection.
