Male intra-anal warts are caused by infection with the human papilloma virus, which is contagious and can be transmitted through sexual contact and indirect contact.
1. Sexual contact: especially between same-sex sexual behavior, such as anal sex, genitals and the affected area of direct contact, there may be the case of transmission of the virus to the sexual partner.
2. Indirect contact spread: male patients with towels, bath towels, pajama pants, bedding and toilet and other household items, may be contaminated by the virus, and the patient and the sharing of contaminated household items, the same may appear to be infected.
For men with anal warts, they should stop having unclean sex and avoid sharing household items with others.
