Do all hyperthyroidism in pregnancy need to be treated?

Not all cases of hyperthyroidism in pregnancy require treatment and regular monitoring without treatment is recommended for patients who meet the following conditions.
Transient hyperthyroidism in early pregnancy with low serum thyroxine levels.
Asymptomatic or mildly symptomatic hyperthyroidism in pregnancy, where serum thyroxine levels do not reach 1.5 times the upper limit of normal.
For such patients, thyroid function is tested every 4 to 6 weeks.
