What is the difference between color blindness and color vision?

We are not strangers to color blindness, because there are always some such people around us. In their eyes, the world is only black and white and gray, no color. We can imagine their pain, their helplessness, we should not discriminate them, but help them to enjoy all the fruits of civilization in this society. In this society, there are not only color-blind people, but also color-weak people. Color blindness, like color weakness, is a manifestation of color vision abnormalities, which are usually related to hereditary diseases, and color vision abnormalities caused by acquired causes are rare. Although color blindness and color weakness are both manifestations of color vision abnormalities, they are essentially different: a. Color blindness is the inability to distinguish colors, i.e., the loss of the ability to distinguish colors. According to the doctrine of the three primary colors, those who cannot distinguish red are red-blind, those who cannot distinguish green are green-blind, those who cannot distinguish blue are blue-blind, and those who cannot recognize all three colors are totally color-blind. Second, color blindness means the ability to distinguish colors is reduced. In other words, a colorblind person can recognize all colors, but the ability to recognize them is slow, or it takes repeated consideration to recognize them. Third, color blindness is the complete inability to distinguish some colors; while color weakness can distinguish colors, but the ability to discriminate is worse than normal. Although there is a difference between color blindness and color weakness, there is also a certain relationship between them. Like color weakness, there is a difference between severe color weakness, which is equivalent to mild color blindness, and its ability to distinguish colors will be very poor; while mild color weakness, most of which do not need treatment, have a sense of colors, but just have more difficulty in distinguishing them. As with color blindness, there are more men than women with color blindness. It is true that there is no treatment for color blindness and color weakness caused by hereditary diseases. But for some acquired factors caused by color vision abnormalities, then it can still be treated, especially for color weakness, never give up on your own, living in a world without color is undoubtedly very painful.
