What is a blepharoplasty with eyelash extensions?

People with single eyelids usually have short and sparse eyelashes, giving the impression of small, lifeless eyes. Double eyelids and long eyelashes can give the impression of bright eyes. The latest eyelash extensions can be done at the same time as eyelid surgery to give the appearance of brighter, more lifelike eyes. There are two methods of blepharoplasty: the eyelid surgery and the incision method. Patients with thin eyelids and little fat in the orbital septum are candidates for eyelid surgery; others are candidates for incision. Eyelash transplants can only be done at the same time as blepharoplasty. The advantages of the simultaneous eyelid surgery and eyelash transplantation are: the two procedures are done at the same time, recovery is simultaneous, time is saved and pain is reduced; the roots of the eyelashes lead from the blepharoplasty line, which is favorable for the formation of the eyelid; and the results of the two procedures are combined.
